After Buying Wedding Invitations, Tips for Assembling them
First of all, unless you count each of the invitation items
you have ordered, you can’t be sure that you have received equal amount of
each. Usually there is a little overage printed in case there are some smears,
smudges or if something doesn’t print correctly. If some abnormalities are
noticed, they are discarded, but if not then you might get say a few more
reception cards than wedding invitations, etc.
So when it comes to assembling your wedding invitations, it is a good idea to
count out in piles the same quantity, be it 100, 50 whatever. Count them very
carefully to be sure that you have equal amounts. It would be easy to
mistakenly have a couple of pieces stick together when you are assembling your
invitations, so if you have carefully counted out each item, then when you have
finished assembling the items and stuffing them in the envelopes, if you have
anything left over in any of the stacks then you know that you left one item
out of an envelope and if one stack is empty before the others, then you know
that two must have stuck together.
That is why you don’t want to seal the wedding invitation envelopes until you know that you have
all the right pieces inside, because you may have to go back through to find
out which envelope has an extra piece or which one may be missing one.
