Wedding Invitations

Note to self…don’t hang clothes or anything for that matter, on a sprinkler head. You know…the kind of sprinklers on the ceilings to put out fires.  

Recently a bride apparently came into her hotel room as drunk as a skunk after her wedding celebrations and hung her wedding dress on one of the hotel room sprinkler heads. It set off the entire emergency fire system, thus evacuating the entire hotel and flooding both her suite and another with stagnant sprinkler water. The water had been sitting in the pipes for who knows how long, so you can probably imagine it stunk to high heaven.  Other rooms and elevator shafts were also damaged. I hope the hotel had some good flood insurance.

Not only were their honeymoon plans dampened, seven other weddings had booked rooms for that night. Well, at least they can say their lives aren’t boring and they will all remember this one.

How embarrassing! I bet her hangover was killer the next morning.

So some wedding etiquette advice…where to being?

First of all, don’t ever hang anything on sprinkler heads as they are apparently extra sensitive (for good reason).  Secondly…you can probably think of the rest.
