Get the Best Wedding Pictures
Your wedding day is planned to perfection. You have the wedding dress, the wedding favors, the flowers, and everything else that will make your wedding stand out. How will you capture your wedding memories so that you will be able to remember the beauty of your special day forever?
Your wedding photographer is the number one person in charge of making your wedding memories. Their job is to capture the moments of your wedding day that will never happen again. Yet so often new couples are disappointed with some or all of their wedding photos, because they didn’t communicate their wishes with the photographer.
What does your photographer need to know before the wedding day? Here are a few points to go over.
- Do you want traditional or photojournalistic wedding pictures? Traditional pictures are classic shots of the wedding party, posed before or after the wedding ceremony. Photojournalistic pictures are freestyle, capturing the unique moments of each wedding.
- Create a list of specific photos you don’t want your photographer to miss. This list may be very personal, such as if you are seeing family members for the first time in years. Or they might be more specific, such as when the groom is putting the ring on your finger.
- Let the photographer know what unique feeling and style you would like your photos to have. Are you looking for more serious and demure shots, or fun and playful? Examples from other wedding photos you have found will communicate your needs clearly.
You will only have one chance to have your wedding photos taken. Be sure that your are comfortable talking with your photographer, and confident that they will do an excellent job on your wedding day.
