Wedding Invitations

At the entrance of your reception hall or other dining area, hang a large sign welcoming guests to the bride and groom’s reception. Perhaps you could print, “Welcome to the reception of Mr. and Mrs. X” to officially use the couple’s new name for the first time. A sign of this nature is especially helpful is you are married in a hotel with many different reception rooms. It assists the guests in identifying where to do and adds a more personal touch than the hotel’s standard placards.

You may choose to have a child decorate your sign with crayons or markers. Or, consider having photos, hearts, or flowers adorn it.

You welcome sign can be as simple as a computerized banner or as extravagant as tulle fabric imbedded with your message and tiny twinkling white lights.
