You know you’re an animal lover when the theme of your wedding is a jungle or even an African safari. I found yet another incredible wedding story to share with you.

These newlyweds met on an Eco Tourism trip in the Amazon jungle. Both sharing the same passion for wildlife and the wild places of the world, they instantly hit it off. Coincidently they had both recently divorced from people who did not understand this passion at all. Realizing it’s rare to find someone that connects so deeply, they were not about to let go of one another.

Their Wedding invitations were of course attractively jungle themed and instructed everyone to dress in clothes as if they were going on a jungle tour. As you can imagine there were people there who wore all kinds of crazy and wild clothes. Some people wore fake leopard skin clothes to look like Jane and Tarzan. Some even wore those safari hard hats. The people who insisted on wearing nice formal clothes really missed out because this couple even had elephant rides. Apparently they had connections.

For their honeymoon, their friends and family treated them to an Australian Outback tour.
For their 10th anniversary they are planning an African Safari, even with the kids. If they can wait that long.

So here’s the wedding etiquette tip of the day. If the wedding invite says to wear safari clothes, you’d better, so you don’t miss out the surprises the couple may have in store for you.
