Only Expensive Items Left On The Wedding Registry? - Do A Group Gift! - Wedding Etiquette

Has this ever happened to you? You’ve been invited to a wedding, you hop online to the couples wedding registry and all that small inexpensive items have already been purchased? Unfortunately your budget (or lack of budget) only allows for a small purchase. But…..before you dismiss the thought of getting something from their wedding registry, you may want to consider doing a group gift. Who else do you know that was invited that could pitch in for one of the bigger (or more expensive gifts) that are left on the registry? Chances are, those are the items the couple really has their heart set on and they would probably much rather get one of those vs a bunch of random gifts.

If you decide to get the registry gift directly from the store instead of the online, then remember to print up the bar code prior to going and present it to the cashier. This way the item will be scanned into the registry of being purchased and there won’t be duplicate gifts purchased for the newlyweds. If you forget to inform the store to mark it off the registry, be sure to at least let the recipients (or the person who has access to make changes to the registry) know so they can log into the wedding registry and take it offline.  Most people don’t think about it, but now that read this, you will.

I hope these were some helpful wedding etiquette registry gift tips for you.
