Pre-Wedding Stress: Research and Organization
One of the best ways to avoid experiencing “Pre-wedding stress” is: be organized! Get a wedding planner or a three-ring binder with dividers and pockets to keep all of your receipts, research, contracts and ideas so that you can always access things in one portable place.
Collect wedding-related materials from friends. If you are worrying about writing your wedding program or letter to out-of-town guests, ask other married friends for copies of theirs to use as models. There is no need to reinvent the wheel when there are lots of resources out there!
Read, read, read: wedding books, magazines, and web sites. There is an abundance of information available on virtually every wedding-related topic imaginable.
When reading wedding-related literature, use a highlighter and self-stick flags to mark areas that are specific to your needs, questions, or concerts. That way the stacks of books, magazines, and other wedding planning-related paperwork won’t overwhelm you.
