Timing Your Way to a Better Wedding

Choosing the right date and time for your wedding can really make a difference in your overall wedding experience. You can have a beautiful and elegant wedding, while making the most of your surroundings. Here are some creative ways you can use timing to maximize your wedding efforts.
- Choose off-season dates to save money. The warmer months are the busiest for wedding vendors, with June coming in as number one. You will be paying premium prices for your wedding services, so opt for an off-season wedding whenever possible. Saturdays are also the busiest wedding day of the week. Fridays and Sundays are nice alternatives.
- The time of day can make all the difference. If you are having an outdoor wedding, a lovely sunrise or sunset can make your wedding ceremony look spectacular. You can capture incredible wedding pictures when you have nature on your side. For a church wedding, note the time of day when sunlight comes through the windows, casting an elegant glow over your wedding.
- Make your meals count. Choosing a wedding reception meal held earlier in the day can cut costs dramatically, and provide your wedding guests with a delightfully unexpected meal. Brunches and mid-afternoon meals can provide simpler fare that won’t take as big a bite out of your wedding budget.
Once you have your wedding timing just right, you can set the stage for an incredible wedding celebration. Sometimes, the best wedding solutions are often the simplest. Time your wedding right, and you will have the most memorable wedding day!
