There are no hard-and-fast rules for a vow renewal ceremony. Feel free to be creative.

You don’t need a legal officiant and need not comply with the legal requirements of a wedding. How freeing!

It is nice to be able to write your own vows without having any time limitations or restrictions imposed by the officiant.

You can even try to have your original wedding party members come to the wedding and serve as your attendants again.
