Wedding Crasher Mobbed
This morning I ran across an online article that brings up a very wise wedding etiquette tip for potential wedding crashers.
There are three different kinds of wedding crashers I can think of. First there’s the comedian kind who likes to play practical jokes and causes a comical scene. It’s often planned or staged and often expected, but they don’t really ruin the wedding celebrations.
The second kind that comes to mind is the one who gets, shall we say, a little “tipsy” and starts saying or doing some very embarrassing things. They don’t intend to, but they do need to work on their overall etiquette.
The third and worst one is the kind that intentionally plans to vindictively ruin the happy celebrations, much like this one in the news.
In Saskatchewan, Canada, there was a man who recently caused quite a ruckus at a wedding celebration and then struck a lady with his car as he left. It is unknown whether it was intentional or not, but members of the wedding actually pulled the man from his car and started beating on him until police came.
So here are some tips for wedding crashers…
If you’re the comedian type, be sure whatever you plan is still within acceptable boundaries. If you’re the kind who gets a little to crazy when tipsy, stay away for the alcohol. But most importantly, if you’re the vindictive kind, stay far far away because chances are it’ll turn on you with full force.
