Wedding Gifts That You Don’t know What to Do With?

Just about every wedding includes those common gifts that the couple gets way too many of. These are typically things like toasters, blenders and dishes.

Then there are those random gifts that you aren’t sure are a gag or for real. For example, one couple received a huge package of toilet paper. Who doesn’t need toilet paper? The card read “I wanted to get you something I know you would use and appreciate”. It’s still a mystery as to who it came from. Some even speculate it was a gag gift insinuating the bride or groom were full of something, if you know what I mean (but that wouldn’t be very nice wedding etiquette ;0))

Alas, there is always that gift where the couple says “what are we suppose to do with this?”  They don’t know what to do with it so it gets pushed aside, starts collecting dust and takes up space. It may even be one of those gifts the couple re-gifts. The most common gift in this category that I have run across is the electric frying pan or electric skillets.

In the defense of electric frying pans and electric skillets, they are great! You just have to know how to use them. You’d be surprised how handy they can be. They are great for traveling with or camping with. Yes, even camping and no you don’t plug them into a current bush. Many campgrounds, picnic areas and parks will have electrical outlets for such a thing.  When you’re on a road trip it can get might expensive and unhealthy eating fast food.  With these electric devices you can cook steak, eggs of all kinds, hash browns, rice, bacon, fish, etc. etc. etc.
