What It Looked Like - The Nightmare Before Christmas Wedding
So now that we’ve covered the wedding etiquette nightmares of the Nightmare Before Christmas themed wedding, let’s talk about the good stuff and how they decorated and pulled it off.
This wedding planner really went all out for this wedding. Despite the concerns of it looking to Gothic, they were able to make it look beautiful and tasteful.
Starting with the actually wedding ceremony…The church was decorated with Black Magic Roses with Dark Burg/Purple Calla Lilies. The flower girls carried black wreaths with pinstripe ribbon and Black Magic Roses.
As for the reception hall…it had high ceilings with gold up-lighting which created a perfect antique dimmed lighting affect. They turned the room into something that looked like Tim Burton’s Black Tree forest. There were carved Nightmare pumpkins in all the windows looking towards the inside. The linens were black ply with square satin overlays and to go along with it were black polyester napkins with silver chargers. The centerpieces were “alternating black glossy medium sized Manzanita tress (with a single black magic rose individually tied to a few branches) and large black glossy trees with red hanging votive holders. The trees were also in black urns with small white pumpkins perched on top of a bed of spanish moss.”
As a centerpiece, the guest book table had a 24” tall Jack on top of Black Magic Rose spray. The Jack was apparently a gift to the couple from the wedding planner.
Well that’s all for now. I hope you got some great ideas. Have a great day.
